Beth Rock combines the youth of Shelter Rock Jewish Center, Temple Beth Sholom and Temple Beth Israel into one chapter. We have worked very hard this year and have a lot to be proud of: a successful USY Yom Haatzmaut program, USY Regional convention, and great programming all of which have been very well attended.
2015 was a great year of growth for our chapter. The USY regional convention in the Hudson Valley was co-chaired by Alex Kristal. We had 14 USYer's from our chapter attend and we were recognized for many great achievements. The four awards we won were: Most improved chapter, Largest membership increase for both Kadima and USY, and Best Israel programming event (Krav Maga). Divisional and regional elections were held and we are now the home chapter of the Divisional Vice President of Communications (Matt Benak) and the Regional Social Action/Tikkun Olam Vice President (Alex Kristal). Way to go!!
