Join us for our annual BBQ. Come meet our clergy. Make new friends! See all our community has to offer and get to know our Sisterhood, Men’s Club, Religious School and Early Childhood Center. Also meet our new director of Kadima/USY, Dan Risner, and learn about exciting new programs planned for this fall. Everyone is invited to catch up with old friends and see what’s new at Shelter Rock. Fabulous FREE burgers, hot dogs, salads and more! Veggie options as well. Reservations are not necessary, but please let the office know if you plan on coming in order to ensure there will be food on hand. Entertainment for all ages! Our Social Action Committee will be collecting new back to school supplies and new or gently used t-shirts to help children on Long Island in the upcoming school year.

After services, erev Sukkot, join Sisterhood and the entire Shelter Rock Community for our not to be missed annual Sukkot dinner. Reservation deadline is Monday, September 30. There will be no seat for any adult or child without a reservation.
Sisterhood Kicks off the Year - August 7
Sisterhood makes a splash with its first event of the 2014-15 program year: Thursday, August 7, 5:30-9:30, pool party and dairy supper at the home of Doris and Arnie Koenig. $30 per person includes supper. Your check is your reservation. Please make the check payable to SRJC Sisterhood and mail or bring it to the SRJC office, 272 Shelter Rock Road, Roslyn, NY 11576. Attendance is limited to 30 guests.
